Just over 2 years ago now, I found Banjo at the GEARS stand at the PetExpo.I was freaking out over every dog at the event, of course, but when I saw Banjo it was different. There was a swarm of kids around her and she was soaking up all the attention. Until I knelt down. Banjo abandoned those kids and walked right over to me and started giving me a face a bath with kisses. I knew right then and there we were going to be best friends. I immeadiatly walked over to the food court at the Expo, sat down at a table, and filled out my application for her from my phone.
Now we do everything together. She's my best friend. I can't thank GEARS enough for that. So I'll be streaming for 24 hours on April 24th to 25th and hopefully we can help this amazing organization provide other dogs with their best friends too! Everyone deserves this kind of love.
