The Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) is so excited to be bringing our Craftathon back for another year, and this year the amazing Yarn Rebels are joining us!
On Saturday November 2nd from 9am to 9pm we will be crafting for a cause to help us raise money for animals in our care! You can bring your own crafty things to do, or we'll have something available to make for foster animals in our care! This year we've added a Crafter Challenge: Participants will need to try and raise $100 by 9:00AM on the day of the event. If the goal is not met a small fee of $10 will be required to help cover additional costs.
The Craftathon will be held in person at the Sherwood Park Log Cabin (50 Spruce Ave, Sherwood Park, AB). You can also participate at home and check in with us throughout the day!
We are also so excited to be teamed up with The Yarn Rebels this year, and they will be hosting a fantastic Rummage Sale at the event from 1pm to 5pm.
We have some amazing prizes from: High Dough, Bent Stick Brewing, The Yak Yarnery, Sea Change Brewing, and more!
Each donation of $20 or more will get an automatic tax receipt!
When donating, make sure you pick which team you're donating to. Otherwise your donation will go to the general pool (which still helps the the animals, it just doesn't get added to a Teams total)
