Help keep the promise: So that no one faces cancer alone.

Adina: "At 39, being a single mother, I was having a mastectomy. It was scary. It's a tough world out there, and you throw in having cancer, losing your breast and losing your hair...Just having this place here, it provides me and my kids with a place where everybody understands."

Gilda's Club provides a welcoming environment where people affected by cancer, can learn about living with cancer.  Our unique program of emotional support is based on research and experience, and provides emotional support, information and sense of community to people of all ages.  Here, men, women and children can find the information and support they need to live with the emotional stress of a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and bereavement.

The program is offered free of charge to men, women and children, including those who have been diagnosed with cancer and the people who care about them. Gilda's Club does not receive any government or hospital funding for our program.  We rely entirely on donations from individuals and businesses in the community.

About Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka

Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka provides an integrated program of education, information and emotional support for anyone who is living with the impact of cancer.

The cancer support program is based on research and designed by mental health professionals. At Gilda's Club members can choose to participate in formal support groups, education and information activities, and social and community activities.

About 20% of our members are under 18 years of age, so there are also many support activities designed for children, teens and families.

Gilda's Club does not receive any government or hospital funding to support our program.  We rely on generous individuals and businesses in the community.
