Giant Steps Foundation - Montreal finances the activities of the Canadian Institute for Neuro-integrative Development, commonly known as Giant Steps/À Pas de Géant School.

Giant Steps Foundation - Montreal is appealing to the private sector for supplementary financing to benefit not only autistic children attending Giant Steps/À Pas de Géant School, but the student population within its' territory that exhibits significant learning, behavioral, and developmental difficulties.

About GIANT STEPS FOUNDATION-MONTREAL / LA FONDATION À PAS DE GÉANT- MONTRÉAL

Giant Steps/À Pas de Géant School is the only school focussed exclusively on autism spectrum disorder. It has the largest team of professionals specialized in autism in Quebec, and offers the widest range of therapies under one roof.

The School is dedicated to the development of autonomy in each student. A unique multi-disciplinary approach is highly individualized to meet each student's particular needs. Furthermore, the School provides support allowing inclusion within mainstream schools affiliated with the various school boards, a process that reinforces functional autonomy in the child as he ages.

Unable to welcome the 600 students on its' waiting list, the Giant Steps/À Pas de Géant School, through its' Resource Center, provides assistance and shares expertise and knowledge with families and schools throughout the City of Montreal, the Laurentians, and the Montérégie. These added services allow the school to provide assistance to a larger community.
