Mission Statement

The Anglican Journal is the national newspaper of the Anglican Church of Canada, publishing 10 issues per year.

The Journal advances and presents the Christian faith and stimulates debate on issues of concern to the church. It also informs Anglicans in Canada about the domestic and international work of the church and provides relevant news of the worldwide Communion and of other faith communities.

The publication is an important instrument of communication for the Anglican Church of Canada. The newspaper expresses the full range of opinion within the Anglican Church community and is editorially independent. The Anglican Journal operates in accordance with the Statement of Ethics and Standards of the Professional Practice of the Associated Church Press.

Our Work

The Anglican Journal has been, and continues to be, the primary print vehicle for the countless stories that reflect the Anglican church’s diversity across the breadth of the country.

The Journal, in partnership with 22 Anglican diocesan newspapers, provides local stories of faith that unite Anglicans in various towns and cities across Canada.

Your gift is important in keeping Anglicans informed, engaged and connected to their church, and to the inspiring stories and timely information they value.

Tribute Gift

Tribute gift is a thoughtful way of expressing your feelings to a family member, friend or colleague for those special occasions or in sympathy of the loss of a loved one.

Recognize someone with a gift that makes a difference. Your tribute gift to the Anglican Journal will last a lifetime as it is put to work connecting Anglicans to their church…sharing inspiring stories with context, dimension and balance.  The Journal keeps the conversation going and the lines of communication open.
