Overview

Join the Friends of the Galt Museum at the inaugural Bridge and Brews BeerFest on October 4th.  Sample beers from around southern and central Alberta from up to 20 craft breweries.  Food trucks and live music will also be at the festival.  The Festival runs from 4PM until 12AM at the Galt Museum & Archives. This event is 18+, no exceptions.

There will be a very limited number of tickets at the door so please purchase online.

* TICKETS AND SAMPLE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT TRANSFERABLE

* ADMISSION TICKET INCLUDES ENTRY AND 10 SAMPLE TICKETS 

* ADDITIONAL SAMPLE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE EVENT

* THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY (18+) EVENT.  GUESTS ARRIVING FOR THIS EVENT WITH CHILDREN/INFANTS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED.

* FOOD AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE FROM LOCAL FOOD TRUCKS - NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ALLOWED

* PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE EVENT. IF YOU ARRIVE WITH A PET, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

* FOR THE SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF ALL ATTENDEES, INDIVIDUALS WHO APPEAR VISIBLY INTOXICATED WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY INTO THE FESTIVAL, AND NO REFUNDS GIVEN.

Volunteering

We will need upwards to 15 volunteers to help out with the event, ranging from ticket sales to pouring samples to helping out with logistics.  Contact Chris Roedler  if you are interested in helping out.

The Friends Society of the Sir Alexander Galt Museum & Archives is non-profit registered Society and a registered charity. It is a volunteer run organization that provides volunteer and fundraising support for educational programs at the Galt Museum & Archives. The Friends endeavor to raise funds to help the Museum produce a positive, informed, and educational experience for visitors. The Friends are devoted to supporting students and youth in developing an appreciation for the Museum through educational and recreational programs. The Galt Museum & Archives is a regional history museum in southern Alberta. The Museum engages and educates our communities in the human history and culture of southwestern Alberta by preserving and sharing collections, stories, and memories that define our collective identity and guide our future.
