But wait, who exactly was Jane Jacobs, and why does her legacy inspire this annual Jane's Walk festival? It's more than just a stroll down memory lane; it's about celebrating community, fostering dialogue, and empowering citizens to shape the future of their cities.

So, what's your take on the rezoning proposal? Should we prioritize green spaces or embrace urban development? Learn more about the proposal, site enhancement plans, and share your ideas; let's spark some lively debates!

Participants in this walk will embark on a journey through the rich history and significance of the 148-acre greenspace, paying tribute to George Genereux, a multi-faceted athlete whose legacy reverberates through Saskatoon. Alongside his childhood comrades and notable figures such as Dr. Dick Baltzan, Professor Emeritus Dr. Don Bailey, and city builder Peter Semko, attendees will unravel the intertwined narratives that have shaped the park and the city.
