The next Travel Adventures presentation will be:
American Bison & Sandhill Cranes with Rick Andrews
Friday September 27 at 2pm at Helen Schuler Nature Centre
Enjoy two short films by Rick Andrews, along with a Q&A with the filmmaker.
American Bison: Filmed in Canada and the U.S. over a 2 year period, this video documents both the history and behaviour of the two subspecies of American Bison - the Wood Bison and the more commonly known Plains Bison.
Sandhill Cranes: Filmed in both Canada and the U.S., this video follows the incredible age-old migration of Sandhill Cranes from their wintering grounds in the southern U.S. to their nesting grounds in Canada. This documentary then intimately follows a pair of sandhill cranes as they bond, nest and raise the next generation.
