We operate a beautiful outdoor pool and splash pad in Annapolis Royal, NS.
Who are we?
The Annapolis Community Pool is run by the Friends of the Annapolis Pool Society, a 100% volunteer-driven board. We are a registered, non-profit, charitable organization and are responsible for the operation of a fully-lifeguarded outdoor pool, a facility building, and splash pad. We offer Lifesaving swim lessons, fitness lane swimming, aquatic programs, and free public swim time.
We strive do do all this while removing all barriers to access for our patrons. As of 2022 our facility is accessible with an accessible change room, washroom, and aquatic lift chair. In addition, we are fundraising, and writing grants to remove financial barriers by offering as many of our programs (including swim lessons) as free of charge for children, youth, families, seniors, and other individuals.
