Mitchell Larsen is a performer living in Saskatoon with his husband, Benjamin Johnson.
You may have seen him in The Gay Card, a dramedy navigating the difficulties of modern dating; Santiago High Tech, a surrealist dive into a dystopic and colourful future; The Inconquerable Faith of Gladys Struthers and Others, a madcap romance between two star-crossed talent show contestants; The Monument, a chilling struggle to move forward after atrocity; or Certain Times: a Mid-Apocalyptic Cabaret. You may also have seen him performing original music at Regina’s Write Out Loud, The Last Sunday of the Month, or Pride Mainstage.
In addition to his work with Free Flow, Mitchell is currently working with Megan Zong on her piece, Unmasked, a personal journey through psychosis; La Vióle Theatre Company’s mysterious new production, Antorcha; a second draft of an unnamed novel; and many more exciting projects.
In his spare time, you’ll usually find Mitchell talking with friends and family, playing RPGs, or consuming as much queer fiction as he can get his hands on.
