Contact Sensibilities
In this class, we continue our quest for softness and strength, through sensitivity, receptivity, and curiosity! Contact improvisation has basically been on pause since the pandemic, but its principles are vital. Through contact improv-based principles, we can practice finding our center, feeling counterweight, and soft support. In this class, we will use the floor and objects to find release, the support of gravity, and even acrobatics. We may use each other (other bodies), depending on people’s level of comfort, and the current COVID 19 situation.
