Overview

Professional and emerging dancers are welcome to attend the online zoom platform based Brain-Body Connection Professional Development Series hosted by Free Flow Dance Theatre free of charge. If you would like and can afford to make a donation to support the future of the company please do! We are pleased to host this series of workshops with the support of the Community Initiative Fund, City of Saskatoon and Sasktel.

Karla will be teaching August 3 and 10 2:30-4 pm. Please note you must register individually for each workshop thank you. 

Guidelines to Expression: a two-part dance series workshop with Karla Kloeble

Overview Description: This 2 part dance workshop series is a guideline to expression in movement creation. Inspired by Anne Bogart and Tina Landau's The Viewpoints, these workshops will offer guiding tools to explore an increasing awareness of self through opening up the senses. How to join! When you register for your spot in the workshop you will receive an email with the information on how to join us via the Zoom Platform along with the appropriate password. Please plan to sign in to the workshop platform between 2:15 and 2:30 pm CST.  

Karla Kloeble is a dynamic and inspiring individual, a lifelong teacher of movement and loves motivating her students with embodied empowerment.  Her teaching style blends over 20 years of dance training and performance experience into an accessible form of movement study for all.  She is well acquainted with the physical mechanics of movement and executes teaching her students with reassurance, patience and positivity.  Karla encourages deep body listening, helping individuals connect to their inner landscape and intuition. She encourages students to explore moving their body’s in always possible, with the belief that new movement patterns connect and translate into new life opportunities. "Open up and allow for something new into your body and into your life!”

Karla Kloeble is a Saskatchewan based circus artist better known as Hula Hoopster and a professional dance performer.  She has performed at a number of Saskatoon events such as the Nutrien Fireworks' Festival, Saskatoon Fringe Festival, Lugo, Art in the Park, community association events and Back Alley Antics to name a few. Karla is a former Free Flow Dance Theater Company dancer and has performed all across the province dancing, teaching and hula hooping.
