Throughout the past 150 years, trains connected our rural communities, and have been instrumental in the development of Alberta’s resource industries, fuelling economic growth and development in the province.
The Fort Edmonton Foundation wants to preserve Edmonton’s railway heritage with the capital reinvestment of the Train Station, the Locomotive 107 and the addition of a dining car at Fort Edmonton Park to elevate the historical experience for guests at Fort Edmonton Park.
