HISTORY AND MISSION
Created in July 1987, the Albatros Foundation is an organization primarily dedicated to collecting donations to ensure the sustainability of the work of Maison Albatros. Thanks to responsible management and the work of its management members, the Foundation ensures the maintenance and development of the care offered at Maison Albatros.
Founded in 1985, Maison Albatros de Trois-Rivières is one of the first palliative care homes in Quebec. It offers free palliative care to people with a prognosis of less than 2 months of life expectancy. In July 2020, Maison Albatros moved into a new building that can accommodate up to ten patients in single rooms. Maison Albatros is part of the Alliance of Palliative Care Homes of Quebec. It is renowned for its superior quality care and services.
