Focus on Nature works to inspire young people to explore and connect with nature through photography. We envision a world where our connections to nature create a healthy, flourishing planet. We see a critical role for the arts in fostering these connections.

Our core program consists of full-day workshops delivered in grades 3 to 6 classrooms by teams of trained volunteers and staff.  Our workshops reach out to a diverse group of young people, encouraging them to get outside, and open their eyes to the beauty and complexity of the natural world, using the camera as a creative tool.
