First Nations Restoration Centre offers a variety of services. Our vision it to address the needs for restoration among First Nations families and communities resulting from past traumas , grief and addictions.
We offer programming to a variety of ages of First Nations people through coaching and mentoring.
Locally, we invest in the First Nation community through regular Bible studies and retreats. Local after school programming for children and summer Vacation Bible Schools are also a highlight for the children of the First Nation.
Baby Starter Bag Outreach at the Meno Ya Win Hospital in Sioux Lookout equips Moms with a starter kit of supplies for their Newborn including the essentials of diapers, clothes, blanket, shampoo etc. A copy of our Daily Bannock (A Collection of True Stories and Testimonials) is also included to encourage these new Moms and their families .
A second edition of "Daily Bannock" is also underway with updated stories and testimonies.
Our approach reflects the traditional values of family, caring and sharing. These elements make relationships the center of the healing process.
During Covid ,due to community restrictions some activities have been put on hold but we continue to reach out!!
