Hi, my name is Grant Simpson and I have been selected for the 18-man Canadian Junior Men's National Team squad heading to Barbados in April to compete for a spot in the Junior World Cup. It is an honour to be selected to play for my country and be given the opportunity to play the sport I love so much at the highest level on the continent. As I have coached and worked with many young players in Alberta and Victoria, I am excited to be given the opportunity to represent them and drive a new generation of Alberta field hockey athletes. Whilst my journey up to this point has been a blast and I can't wait to continue, it has come to a great cost to me and my parents. The Junior Men's National Team is self-funded meaning that an athlete will pay for all training, travel and tournament entry which adds up. I would greatly appreciate any donations to my campaign to allow me to compete at the highest level possible and achieve my dream of representing my country. Thank you!
