While Ontario paramedics remain dedicated in the fight against COVID-19, they also know that food banks play a critical role in serving communities across the province.
Food banks remain on the frontlines to ensure people in need have access to food during these challenging times. There is a surge in demand for support and food banks are starting to run out of food and resources.
In light of the province's pandemic premium to frontline workers, paramedics are overwhelmingly motivated to support an Ontario in crisis. The OPA is proud to be partnering with Feed Ontario to provide Emergency Food Boxes to those who need it most, helping them stay home and safe one week at a time. Every $30 box is leveraged into $100 worth of food.
Paramedics are encouraged to donate their $250 per month lump-sum-premium to Feed Ontario and support another crucial frontline against COVID-19.
