Girls in Sports are Empowered for Life 2023

Fast and Female is a national charity on a mission to empower girls through sport, physical activity and education. We create girl-centred, girl-focused opportunities, in person and virtually, in partnership with like-minded organizations and individuals nationwide. We take an evidence-based approach to introduce girls to Role Models, new sport and physical activities, and deliver workshops to teach them transferable life skills like confidence, the power of positive thinking, using your voice and so much more.

2023 has been a record-breaking year for our Fast and Female team! We've been breaking barriers across the country and are proud to share that:

- We've engaged over 3000 participants through our events, programs and partnerships

-  A ~200% increase in our reach and engagement of youth across Canada through our online and in-person events and programs

- Hosted over 25 events, including 3 multi-week programs for girls

- Sharing our first formal Strategic Plan, facilitated by Mosaic Engagement and funded by Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities

- A 21% increase in total revenue from last year to this year, year to date!

And it's not over yet. As a lean but mighty team, we are committed to creating change and impact in the sport and physical activity sector and we need your help. We're looking to end the year strong and support our work through 2024. If you're able to, we'd appreciate any donation you can give and sharing our fundraiser within your network. - our National Youth Advisory Program
