About FAITH'S ORPHANS FUND

There are presently 3500 orphans registered and cared for by Faith’s Orphan Foundation. Rather than housing orphans in an institution, children registered with FOF are cared for by extended foster families. Orphan communities are allocated in 16 FOF centres. There are 7 situated along the Chingola/Solwezi road (North-western Zambia) and 9 in Kalulushi area of the Copperbelt province.

Besides helping to organize extended foster families, FOF provides for the basic needs of the children, seeking to break the cycle of poverty and death. This objective is met through the provision of basic clothing and the payment of school fees, allowing the children to be educated. FOF also facilitates life skills training through third party training groups or through the FOF skills training centre.
