Our Mission
The Fairhaven Foundation exists to enhance the quality of life for residents at Fairhaven Long Term Care Home in a caring and safe environment.
About FAIRHAVEN FOUNDATION
Fairhaven has 256 residents, most of whom need nursing or special care. We have one floor designated to the care of people with special needs such as residents with advanced Alzheimer’s or dementia.
We are co-owned by the City and County of Peterborough and are a non-profit organization. The Fairhaven Foundation raises money on behalf of Fairhaven in order to give its residents as high a quality of life as possible.
Money raised pays for necessary items like medical lifts, physiotherapy equipment, and improvements to the building to help make each and every resident feel cared-for, comfortable, and ‘at home’.
