About This Charity

The Etobicoke Humane Society is an all-volunteer animal shelter in Toronto’s west end. We are a no-kill shelter and don’t euthanize for lack of space. We provide cats and dogs with an individualized, high standard of quality care. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of our shelter pets. We believe in second chances, and your support allows us to find our cats and dogs their forever homes. Small Shelter, Big Heart - Our shelter might be small, but our heart is big! The Etobicoke Humane Society relies entirely on donations and fundraising efforts and we don’t receive any government funding or grants. As a small rescue organization that’s run 100 per cent by volunteers, we make the most of our funds, and every dollar goes towards the operation of the shelter and the care and comfort of our animals.
