Up, Up & Away Gala

Like many charities, we have found the last few years heartbreakingly difficult. Although we had to close our physical location and convert to a remote service model, we have learned just how tenacious and dedicated our limited staff and volunteers have proven to be.

More than ever, we are dedicated to helping people to navigate an often baffling, stressful, and scary path epilepsy often creates. Knowing what to expect, what to do, and how to manage is important for every person diagnosed with epilepsy. People who understand their seizures are less likely to depend on the hospital emergency room as a principal source of support, or to reach out to their health care provider in crisis. They also are more likely to gain control of their seizures and to live well with this chronic disease. Helping our clients and their families to better cope with epilepsy and its comorbidities is of utmost priority. But we cannot do this without your help!

You’re invited to attend our main (and first) fundraiser in 2023 for Epilepsy Niagara. Our Up, Up & Away (an adventure around the world awaits) gala will transform the ballroom at the Americana Conference Resort Spa & Waterpark into a whimsical experience and dazzle your tastebuds with scrumptious cuisine from around the world. 

This year’s gala will feature poignant speeches from individuals living with and affected by epilepsy, a buffet dinner, silent auction, raffle prizes and dancing the rest of the night away!
