The Student Entrepreneur National Competition stands as the premier national contest exclusively for full-time Canadian post-secondary student entrepreneurs. Since 1997, this competition has honoured the commitment, determination, and accomplishments of students enrolled in Canadian universities and colleges who are concurrently operating their own businesses.

Nominees must submit a written application by January, detailing their company and entrepreneurial journey. Judges virtually assess applications based on entrepreneurial spirit, business model, traction, and scalability to select 12 finalists who compete in the virtual Student Entrepreneur Opening Round, organized into three leagues and winners of each league advance to the Student Entrepreneur Final Round at the Enactus Canada National Exposition. At the final round, the three finalists present their ventures to a panel of top executives and industry leaders who will crown the Student Entrepreneur National Champion ($10,000), Runner Up ($4,000), and Second Runner-Up ($2,000).
