About EMPOWER SIMCOE FOUNDATION

Many people with intellectual disabilities are living on or below the poverty line. The Foundation, established in 1998, partners directly with Empower Simcoe in supporting thousands of adults and children with intellectual disabilities and their families across Simcoe County. Funds raised by the Foundation go directly to individuals and families for services and supports that receive limited or no government funding. The Foundation also raises funds in support of agency initiatives that foster a more inclusive society and ensure everyone has the opportunity to live a meaningful life.
