Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa programs divert over 4,000 people every year from court and prison, helping to keep families together and increasing chances for marginalized people to break free from or avoid the cycle of incarceration, poverty and homelessness.

• We help women rebuild their lives: We offer counselling and programs to help women learn the skills they need to rebuild their lives
• We provide alternatives to court and prison: We keep over 4,000 people out of prisons and courts, keeping families together and reducing the cost to society
• We provide transitional supportive housing
• We offer hope and respect
