About ELGIN COUNTY RAILWAY MUSEUM INC
Founded in 1989, the Elgin County Railway Museum is a non-profit organization with the mission to to preserve, teach and display to the public the rich heritage of the railroads and their role in the development of St Thomas and Elgin County.
Housed in the former 1913 Michigan Central Railroad Locomotive Shops, the Railway Museum features archives, displays of artifacts, historical photos, locomotives, cabooses and other rolling stock, and the History in Motion model railway.
The Elgin County Railway Museum needs your support to properly conserve the collection, restore artifacts and rolling stock, and renovate the building.
