As Covid-19 continues to spread in communities across Canada, hospitals and other healthcare facilities are facing a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect their doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers.

As our healthcare workers fight on the frontline, let’s do our part to support them.

Campaign Mandate 

Led by Dr. Joseph Wong, and with the help of many volunteers and supporters, the campaign carries a mandate to mobilize Canadians of all ethnicities to work together in solidarity, to show our support and care for frontline medical and paramedical professionals and vulnerable groups in GTA by supplying them with PPE.

The campaign will also promote anti-racism, anti-discrimination messages and unity of humankind.

Campaign Update

The first batch of 200,000 surgical masks we have purchased have been distributed based on needs to hospitals, non-profit long term care homes and essential social service facilities in Toronto, York and Peel, including William Osler, Trillium, Markham Stouffville, St. Michael, St. Joseph, Sunnybrook, Humber River, Mon Sheong, Yee Hong, Hellenic and Toronto social service agencies. Another 400,000 masks have been ordered, which will be distributed to other hospitals, not-for-profit long term care facilities, and neighbourhood service agencies such as food banks and homeless shelters.
