Our Mission

Eden Food for Change is committed to increasing access to good food in a dignified manner, developing food skills to encourage healthy eating and empowering the community through education, outreach and advocacy.

About Eden Food for Change

Eden Food for Change serves the community of western Mississauga by providing emergency food relief to up to 700 hungry families a month, and usage of the Food bank continues to rise. 46% of our clients are children.

We make all efforts to provide healthy, balanced food choices and to ensure that the food provided can, to whatever extent possible, fit various cultural and dietary needs. We also strive to provide basic need items, like fresh fruits and vegetables.

Our full kitchen also provides cooking courses to people who use our food bank and other community organizations. As well, community groups are able to come in and work as a team to prepare, cook and package healthy food to be distributed to our food bank members.
