Many people will, at some point in their lives, find themselves in need of a professional counsellor to deal with stress, trauma or anxiety.   Unfortunately, access to counselling is often very expensive; certainly far beyond what most of Eastview Community Centre's users can afford.

Eastview is pleased to offer affordable and easily-accessible therapy/counselling sessions for individuals, couples and families who may be experiencing one or more of the following: relationship struggles, anger issues, anxiety, grief, and parenting challenges. Additionally, there may be those who struggle with mental health issues related to settlement, poverty, violence and isolation.

We rely on donations from individuals and companies who understand the value of this work to a community that faces so many financial, physical, emotional and mental challenges.  To subsidize the wages of our professionally trained therapist, along with ensuring adequate space and resources are available for clients undergoing this important counselling, we have to raise thousands of dollars each year - but each of these dollars raised goes directly to helping community members, who in turn can help others around them.  

Eastview's Relationworks program is a prime example of a small donation making a HUGE difference.
