Our Mission

Formed in 1989, Earthroots Fund is a registered charitable organization with a mission to protect and maintain the ecological integrity of natural landscapes. This includes protecting biodiversity as well as the archaeological and cultural aspects of the landscape.

Through our public education, research and advocacy programs we fight for meaningful protection for Ontario’s wilderness and wildlife with a focus on key ecological characteristics such as old growth forest stands and keystone species such as the Eastern Wolf.
