Durham Art Gallery Your Rural Headquarters for Contemporary Art

Durham Art Gallery is a non-profit, exhibition-driven space for contemporary art and visual culture in West Grey, Ontario. From our earliest incarnation in the local Carnegie library to our current purpose-built home, the Gallery’s evolution is marked by an engaged community and a diversifying landscape.  

Durham Art Gallery prioritizes contemporary art in its many forms through exhibitions, screening and festivals that explore the complexity of the contemporary experience while foregrounding reciprocity through economically accessible workshops, professional development opportunities, and community-centred events. 

We are dedicated to creating safe, accessible spaces for creativity and self-expression in rural Ontario for people of all ages, abilities, histories and experiences.
