The Drayton Valley and District Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity dedicated to preserving the rich history of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County, Alberta. Since 1983, the Historical Society has actively gathered stories, memories, and objects that reflect the human history of Brazeau County, and established the Drayton Valley Museum to house the collection. Today, the Drayton Valley Museum provides visitors and community members with opportunities to experience their history in programs and guided tours through five historic buildings on site.
