Disaster Relief, humanitarian aid, shelter, tools, water filtration & more for people affected by storms, fires, quakes & other disasters.
Our Mission
To provide on a worldwide basis humanitarian relief and aid in the form of equipment and materials that provide shelter, warmth and comfort to people displaced by natural or other disasters.
What We Do
Disaster Aid Canada provides aid to people and communities displaced by natural and manmade disasters, including earthquakes, forest fires, storms, tsunamis and war.
How We Respond
We normally partner with Rotary Clubs in the immediate area to determine the local needs. We can also distribute a Disaster Relief Kit. This may include a 4 room tent, tool kit, hygiene kits, warmth & comfort products and a water filtration system that will provide a family of 10 a years worth of drinkable water.
The strength of Disaster Aid International and Disaster Aid Canada is our ability to tailor our response to the need of the affected community. If our standard Disaster Relief Kit is not the answer, we can package and send tents by themselves, send water filtration kits, solar powered lights, hygiene and bedding kits or any combination of the above.
Who Are Our Partners
Disaster Aid Canada is a member of Disaster Aid International and an official “Collaborative Organization” of Rotary International. Disaster Aid Canada is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ladysmith. The Charity began operation in 2004 and as Disaster Aid Canada in 2010. Almost all of the people involved in Disaster Aid International are members of Rotary Clubs around the world.
Disaster Aid Canada is made possible by our generous donors who want to help bring relief to those who have lost everything. This gives them hope as they begin to rebuild their lives. Thank you for your generosity.
