What do Imams and soccer have in common? They are coming together to raise money for youth with disabilities!
DEEN Support Services is a registered Canadian charity providing a range of programs and services for individuals with disabilities including Muslims with intellectual disabilities. We are working hard to establish respite and residential homes to provide 24-hour care to our sisters and brothers when their parents face health issues or pass away. The first Imams Charity Game held in partnership with MYSL (Muslim Youth Soccer League) helped us launch AccessKix, a modified sports program for youth with disabilities. The second game contributed to expanding our services from Mississauga to Scarborough and Ottawa. This third game will support our vision 2020 of the first respite and residential home in Toronto implementing an Islamic model of care.
The Third Imams Charity Game will be played on November 30th, 2019 at 4 PM at the Canlan Sportplex in Mississauga. Imams and community leaders from the GTA and surrounding regions are excited to play for this worthy cause. Please help them meet their fundraising goal.
