The coming of AIDS was one of the defining moments of late-twentieth-century dance. Canadian dance was deeply impacted, first and foremost through the loss of a generation of artists and future leaders and mentors, some already at the top of their field, others just beginning to realize their potential. AIDS changed us as a community and continues to impact the present day.
