This Giving Tuesday You Can Help Newcomers to Succeed

We are bursting at the seams! Years ago, we started out with a few staff and a few dozen students. CCI-LEX still works out of that same space, but our students, volunteers, programs, and staff have grown!

To create the best home possible for newcomers to learn English, and as we welcome more refugees from countries like Ukraine and Afghanistan, CCI-LEX needs your help! 

Our Giving Tuesday Campaign goal is $5000.  Together, we can fund a new classroom space! 

Your support will create better spaces that are purpose-driven, filled with the tools and technology that increase efficiency, foster successful learning, and increase fellowship among peers.

What Your Gift Can Do:

Remove the barriers that prevent newcomers from equitable access to resources & services

Ensure a joyful (sometimes first) classroom experience for learning & connection

Enable a safe, welcome, inclusive learning environment

Support the latest technology to aid more students in learning English

Provide purpose-driven spaces for staff, volunteers, learners & community partners to connect

Go Beyond ESL: give spaces for workshops on diverse topics such as Remembrance Day, Landlord-Tenant Rights, Banking, Resume Writing, Getting a Driver’s License, or Canadian Wildlife and Fauna.  

Create a welcoming home for future learners arriving to our amazing city from all over the world
