Crossroads Hospice Society presents our first ever VIRTUAL Hike for Hospice. The Virtual Hike for Hospice event is an opportunity to come together virtually, anytime, and anywhere (indoors) to raise money to help provide compassionate, quality care for people with life-limiting illness and grief support for our community.
Our Hike for Hospice is an online fundraising initiative that allows people to register and hold their own symbolic 'walk' while still fundraising for an important cause. In these uncertain times, we want to promote self-care as well as care for others. By participating in our Virtual Hike for Hospice, you will be able to stay active, healthy, and safe in the comfort of your home while being a part of a fun activity! Hop on your elliptical, treadmill or stationary bike... run up and down those stairs...or get in your steps during your favorite Youtube workout! Get creative!
From now until Sunday May 3rd 2020, register through our website http://hike4hospice.ca/ and pledge to run or walk 5KM, and collect donations for your participation! Leverage your personalized donation page to spread the word! Remember, instead of our usual one day celebration, this VIRTUAL Hike starts today and runs until May 3rd! You choose when and how you 'walk' while joining hundreds of Canadians coming together to say we are #CHSHikingForHospice2020!
On Sunday May 3rd, we will have a virtual celebration starting at 10:00am to show our appreciation for your support, participation, and fundraising efforts! The Crossroads Hospice Society will be streaming on YouTube Live to interact with you, thank our participants, volunteers, and sponsors, and announce the up-to-date total!
