Prostate Cancer Support Regina is is an incorporated organization in Saskatchewan under the authority of The Non-Profit Corporations Act, 1995 and a registered Canadian charity under the authority of the Income Tax Act. 

It brings men, families, friends and supporters together in one strong volunteer organization to increase awareness, knowledge, and understanding of prostate cancer and men’s health overall for people in Regina, Southern Saskatchewan, and for the public at large.

Our purpose is to:  

• Arrange and conduct regular support meetings of the membership. The Organization’s Board of Directors shall schedule support meetings.
• Provide education and information about prostate cancer and treatment to men, their families and friends. This includes working with expert partners speaking to men’s health experiences and concerns, including the importance of mental well being and the role of caregivers, healthcare providers, and other supporters.
• Provide peer sharing, by listening, assisting and guiding men and supporters in decision-making using free, informed and ongoing consent. 
• Promote courage, hope and determination. 
• Work with other organizations with similar objectives in the fight against cancer. 

Our organization does not:

• Provide medical, mental health or any other type of health service. No diagnosis, treatment recommendations or advice regarding any medical or mental health condition or illness will be offered.  
• Advocate or solicit for any specific healthcare service or provider, locally, regionally, nationally or internationally.
