Our Mission
Cowichan Valley Youth Services (CVYS) is a leading organization dedicated to creating and providing opportunities that strengthen the bonds of young people to their families and the community by providing a range of counseling and support services.
About COWICHAN VALLEY YOUTH SERVICES SOCIETY
At Cowichan Valley Youth Services, our goal is to give clients a safe, non-judgmental environment – one where they can discover their strengths, and learn to make healthy choices.
CVYS provides free counselling and various outreach and support services for youth age 13-18 and their families in the Cowichan Valley. We are here for youth and their families to talk, to deal with overwhelming emotions, to learn new skills and to facilitate change.
We take referrals from teens, parents, community agencies, social workers, government, school counsellors and a variety of other sources, but no referral is necessary. All our services are free and confidential.
