Overview

Join us for A Walk to Remember at Providence Farm on Sunday May 7th, 2017. Enjoy a beautiful 1 or 3 kilometer walk through the forest in support of Hospice Care for Cowichan. Come out with friends and family to walk in memory of a loved one, or simply to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. The Walk is by donation and light refreshments will be available.

Details

Formerly the 'Hike for Hospice', A Walk to Remember is an opportunity to gather as a community and enjoy the warmth of a hospice gathering in support of Hospice care for Cowichan. 

Registration starts at 10:00 AM

Walk will begin at 11:00 AM

Post-walk refreshments and snacks will be available.

Pledge collecting is not required, as the event is by donation. However, those who wish to continue collecting pledges can contact mackenzie.cvhs@shaw.ca for a pledge sheet.

About This Charity

Cowichan Hospice offers support, information, and companionship to those living with an advancing illness, family and friends as well as those grieving the death of a loved one. Hospice care is available to clients in their homes, hospital, residential care facilities and any other environment within the Cowichan region. Hospice services are offered by staff and by volunteers in each community in our valley. Volunteers receive core training, ongoing education, and supervision in order to support clients through the palliative and grief journeys. Hospice services are available across the Cowichan region, at no cost.
