About Compassion Society of Halton

The key activities of Compassion Society are the operation of a free clothing share, food cupboard, and referral program.

Through community donations and membership with Refresh Foods, we are able to provide emergency support to over 3,000 adults, children, and seniors, including many newcomers to Canada. If the service required is something we cannot provide, we make sure that people know where to find assistance.

We are proud to be able to work closely with front line staff from many Halton organizations including Halton Children's Aid, Halton Multicultural Council, and Halton Women's Place.
