Hospice Services have cared for residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes since 1987. The team has supported thousands of people who have experienced some of the most unimaginable life circumstances. The diagnosis of a terminal illness, or grieving the death of a loved one is challenging, uncomfortable, and often unfamiliar. Every day the team at Hospice supports individuals and families ensuring the best quality of life despite the difficult circumstances they face.
The Red Hot Chili Steppers are hiking because we want to make sure these vital services remain a part of the fabric of our community. We know the funds raised through Hike For Hospice are necessary to ensure this layer of support remains available for our community!
