About COMMUNITY CARE DURHAM
Community Care Durham (CCD), established in 1977, is a multi-service registered charitable organization. We provide community services to more than 12,000 adults - and their caregivers - who have needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health.
The services are provided at no cost or for a minimal fee and are administered through locations across Durham Region serving the communities of Ajax, Pickering, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby.
We assist our clients with services that support their independence, health and quality of life. In doing so, we help them remain in their own homes – where they want to live.
SERVICES INCLUDE: Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Programs, Community Food Box, Assisted Living & Supportive Housing, COPE Mental Health, Exercise & Falls Prevention, Foot Care Clinics, Friendly Visiting, Home At Last, In-Home Respite, Luncheon Out, Telephone Reassurance, Transportation and more!
