Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold
We have been helping those facing hardships for 105 years within St. Catharines and 40 in Thorold. Since 2019, we have seen a 418% increase in the number of tummies filled. In 2023 we served 3,000 families monthly providing access to food, clothing & household goods, access to housing supports and associated services, back to school and Christmas programs.
Community Care plays a significant role in collecting and distributing foods. As of November, 2024, over 1 million pounds of food has been collected and distributed, representing a 53% increase over 2022 same time.
