The Common Thread Community Chorus Fall 5km/15km Walk/Bike-a-thon Fundraiser!

Common Thread (CT) is a secular, non-audition choir that sings folk music reflecting the languages and cultures of Toronto. CT is for anyone who believes that social justice and community can be built through music. CT seeks to improve the community one song at a time.
As a non-profit, CT relies on membership fees and donor support. CT's fall fundraiser: 5km/15km Walk/Bike-a-thon, helps keep CT singing and advancing towards its goal: to build a culturally diverse and welcoming group that performs folk music from around the world.
The raised funds also go toward: accessibility programs, including ensuring physical access; the inclusive music program suitable for experienced and first-time singers alike; financial subsidies; paying royalties for the music performed, the accessible City of Toronto community centre CT practices in, and the music director, accompanist and administrator.
In combination, by addressing barriers, these people and programs ensure that all singers are welcome, while abiding to principles of inclusion. Support the Common Thread mission by walking, biking and donating. Thank you!
