The mission of the Commissariat of the Holy Land in Canada is to promote and support the Church and the people of the Holy Land. It does do this by providing information and, with the encouragement of the Holy See and the approval of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, by seeking alms from all people of good will and by overseeing the Good Friday Collection in the Roman Catholic parishes across Canada.
