About us
The Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society has been collecting, preserving, and protecting Cole Harbour’s cultural and natural heritage for almost 50 years. A community response to the rapid change from rural to urban landscape, the Society continues to champion this once prosperous agricultural community and bring its story to life at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum, an original 200 year-old farm. "The Farm" is a community museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting Cole Harbour's agricultural past, and to developing understanding of plants, animals and farming today. It relies heavily on community support and volunteers. Admission to the Farm is by donation so that the community may visit often and stay connected to our rural roots!
