Next July I'm taking on the ultimate challenge! I'm climbing the highest mountain peak in Africa in support of children's literacy.
Mt. Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak towers 5,895 meters above sea level - it's the highest freestanding mountain in the world. This trek is going to be the challenge of a lifetime and will take 9 days to complete.
I'm dedicating this climb to children's literacy in Africa because when children know how to read and write they can learn to do and be anything!
My fundraising effort will go toward starting a new CODE literacy project in Tanzania in 2022. So, 100% of your donation will be used to get this project off the ground.
There is no greater predictor of success in life than the ability to read and write - so I'm climbing for the kids and their dreams of a better future!
