This July I am getting out of my comfort zone in support of children's literacy. I'm climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain peak in Africa.
I am dedicating the climb, which will take 9 days to complete, to children's literacy in Africa because we all know there is no greater predictor of success in life than the ability to read and write.
My fundraising effort will go toward starting a new CODE literacy project in Tanzania in 2022. So, 100% of your donation will support CODE's efforts to produce locally relevant books and capacity-building of teachers to promote a strong culture of reading in Tanzanian classrooms.
